Listed below are answers to some of the most commonly asked questions; we are always happy to help if we can.

It is approximately a twenty minute walk to the beach from the station.  A picturesque meander down to the coast, but be prepared for a bit of a hill on the way back.  

Parking at the beach
There is plenty of parking space at the beach.

The trip to the summit of Snaefell takes thirty minutes.  There is a thirty minute stopover at the top before the tram returns to Laxey, which is again another thirty minute ride.  Therefore please allow one and a half hours for the round trip. 

The Laxey Wheel is a leisurely fifteen minute walk from the station.  Most of the walk is on level ground, however the last five minutes does include a short, steep hill.  At this time there is no transport service available between the Tram Station and the Wheel.

 It takes less than five minutes to walk to the Woollen Mill, but do allow an extra few minutes for the trip back as there is a short, but quite steep hill to negotiate.
